At Glow Dental our specialist orthodontist is highly experienced in helping people feel more confident by improving their smile. Embarrassment about the look of your teeth can affect your overall self-confidence and how you interact with people, while problems with your bite can affect how well you chew and your general oral hygiene. However, help is just a phone call away.
We offer a wide range of orthodontic treatments both to improve the appearance of your smile and to reduce discomfort and pain caused by misaligned teeth. Orthodontic treatment involves the use of braces to reposition your teeth. Dental braces gradually move teeth into better positions. We have many types of braces available and your treatment will depend on what you want to achieve. Our team will do whatever is necessary to get the optimum results for each patient in the way that best suits them.
For simpler and more cosmetically-focussed cases, we offer Fast Braces, C-fast and Six Month Smiles, which are rapid, tooth-coloured braces that work quickly by primarily focussing on the front teeth – those that show when you smile.
More complex cases can be treated by bracket and wire systems, available with either traditional metal or tooth coloured brackets and wires. Unlike conventional braces, some of these systems use clips rather than bands to hold the wires in place. The wires pass through these clips almost without friction, so much less force is required to move the teeth. Treatment with some of these systems such as Damon is considerably shorter than with traditional braces.
For maximum discretion we offer lingual braces, which act much like conventional braces but are fitted to the back of the teeth, meaning that nobody will know you are having orthodontic treatment unless you choose to tell them.
Another highly discreet option is to use clear aligners such as Invisalign, Inman Appliance, Simpli 5 and Insignia Clear to gently reposition your teeth without being visible. These aligners can also be removed for short periods for cleaning, brushing and flossing, and to eat and drink, meaning they have a minimal impact on your day-to-day life.
